Did your ERNIE session expire after 2 hours of inactivity?

SOLUTION (Chrome Browser): Clear Cookies and Cache

  1. In the upper right-hand corner of the browser, click the "three dots".
  2. Click "More tools" > "Clear browsing data..."
  3. Check the boxes for "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"
  4. Click "Clear data"

SOLUTION (FireFox Browser): Clear Cookies and Cache

  1. In the upper right-hand corner of the browser, click the "menu bars", which look like three parallel lines.
  2. Click "Options"
  3. Click "Privacy & Security"
  4. Scroll down to "Cookies and Site Data" and click "Clear data"
  5. Check the boxes for "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content"
  6. Click "Clear"

Did you accidentally bookmark the ERNIE Login Screen?

SOLUTION: Recreate bookmark after logging into ERNIE.

  1. Log into ERNIE (ernie.erau.edu).
  2. Create your new bookmark.

Did you click on a link to a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint document?

SOLUTION: Copy and paste the link into address box of your browser.

  1. Right click on the link and select “Copy Link.”
  2. Go to your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.).
  3. Paste the URL into the address bar.
